#7.) Early Graves - Red Horse
Their first album since the tragic loss of their lead singer Makh Daniels 2 years is a tribute and a moving on. They have managed to recapture the sound of their previous releases with a added ferocity and edge to it. Very raw sounding and explosive, this album sets the standard for many thrash/hardcore acts to follow.
Favorite Song: Misery

#8.) Gojira - L’Enfant Sauvage
This album is quite simply put amazing. Very well put together and composed, Gojira never seem to disappoint. Their signature sound is prevalent in this album but they always seem to make it relevant and more appealing. They continue to grow and become a huge force in modern metal and the genre is better for it.

#9.) Old Man Gloom - No
The first album from these guys in eight years. Formed from members of Converge, Isis and Cave in i would consider this band a super group. Heavy sludgy riffs and doom make this record a definite listen to. The influence on the album by producer Kurt Ballou has not gone unrecognized. He always seems the bring the best out of bands and makes the album better then what is already a killer album.
Favorite song - To Carry The Flame

#10.) Every Time I Die - Ex Lives
Everybody’s favorite Metal band from Buffalo, NY has done it again. Every new album they release is certainly never gonna be a disappointment. Ex Lives is a different kind of monster. The guitar styling’s of Jordan and Andy are very technically precise and vicious. Some of the riffs in this album are insane. The album as a whole is an assault on the senses and i wouldn’t want it any other way
